01 The character of Lily Winchester is an OC of my own creation. All threads, headcanons, and other pieces of writing found on this blog belong to me and my writing partners unless otherwise stated. My icons are all made by me, please do not steal them for your own use. Graphics are made with PSDs from @calisources.
02 Standard RP etiquette, no godmodding, please cut posts, please don’t repeatedly ask for replies. I’m not really comfortable with personal blogs following me so if you have an RP blog as a sideblog please let me know before following or you will be soft/hard blocked.
03 I understand some people are not comfortable with RPing with children of canon characters, so if you would prefer I not follow you just shoot me a message and that will be the end of it. Just please don’t be rude in your message it makes me feel bad.
04 I personally do not have any triggers myself, but this blog will occasionally contain triggers. Major ones will automatically be tagged but if you have a specific trigger that you’d like me to tag, please feel free to let me know and I will tag them!
05 At this point I am currently mutuals only with interactions. If you're interested in interacting and I don't follow you, feel free to shoot me a message and see if we can come up with something together!.
06 Regarding interactions, I find it easiest to draw up and keep muse going with threads that have some form of pre-plotting. Doesn't have to be a lot, just a general idea of what the context behind the thread is and where it might go. I'm open to any types of threads be it one-liners or paras or even ask memes but I most likely will keep threads that are pre-plotted a lot longer than ones where I'm winging it.
07 Seeing as Lily is an OC and has no set ships, I do have a couple canon characters I imagine shipping her with, but overall I ship with chemistry first and foremost. I am open to writing smut with muns I am already comfortable with. This blog WILL NOT participate in any underage ships (young love ships in Lily's teen verses with other teen muses are okay).
08 With the exception of the finale, Lily's story pretty much follows the show's canon exactly, but I am more than willing to adjust aspects of it to suit any canon divergences of my writing partners.

biography
in the beginning
Lily Winchester came to be as a result of a short-lived fling between Dean Winchester and another young hunter, Hanna Holbrook. Shortly after discovering her pregnancy, Hanna abandoned her family and the life of hunting to ensure her daughter grew up in a safe environment. She never tried to contact Dean to tell him about their daughter, her paranoia from growing up in the life of hunting leading her to believe Lily would be safer if neither of them were aware of each other. It was no walk in the park, raising a child completely on her own. At freshly twenty years old shortly after giving birth, it's a wonder the two of them managed to survive, but Hanna was determined. She was determined to give her daughter the life she deserved, the life that Hanna had deserved had her parents not been so obsessed with their hunting legacy. Even before Lily was born, everything Hanna did she did for her daughter, starting with creating a new life for herself away from everyone and everything she knew. It wasn't easy, especially in the early years, but eventually Hanna managed to create a decent life for herself and her daughter. They had a house, Hanna had a job that paid the bills, and Lily even got the opportunity to pursue her passion in ballet dance for over a decade. Hanna was able to keep Lily safe for fifteen years, raising her as best as she could as a single mother, but the hunting lifestyle eventually caught up with her.

On a random day during the summer of 2013, the Holbrooks were chased out of their home by demons and Hanna quickly realized she could no longer keep Lily safe. They managed to escape their attackers for a short time, but it only took a few hours before the demons caught up with them, and Hanna made the decision to leave Lily behind at a secluded motel and risked herself by being taken by the demons. Hanna then ran into Dean briefly, apparently he had been tracking the same demons that were after her, and she managed to tell him that she needed to get back to her daughter. Hanna was tragically killed before getting the chance to return to her daughter, and after she had told Dean where she had left her, Dean went to go find Lily, hoping to be able to get her somewhere safe and reunited with other family, unbeknownst to both of them that he was in fact included in her other family. Lily's relation to Dean was eventually realized, much to both of their surprise. Dean felt he was in no place to be taking care of a teenager, whether she was his or not, and at first attempted to get Lily set up to stay with her grandparents, Jim and Melanie Holbrook, whom Lily had never met previously. Dean was ready to say goodbye to Lily, believing she would be safer without him, but when he realized Hanna's parents fully intended to teach Lily to become a hunter so she could carry on their family legacy the way she was supposed to, Dean changed his mind and took Lily in himself instead, now believing he was the only one who could keep her safe.

Adjusting to her new life with the Winchesters was not an easy road. Lily spent months hiding away and wishing she'd wake up from some elaborate dream, but no matter how much she wished she couldn't escape the reality she now faced. Her mother was dead, and there was a whole world of horrors out there that Lily had never been aware of. It was almost too much to bear, and at one point Lily almost made a demon deal to try and get her mother back. Thankfully, her attempt was squandered, and after many months of building trust with the Winchesters, Lily eventually was able to accept her life within her new family.Once a Winchester, always a Winchester. Over the years that Lily spent with her father and her uncle, she slowly became more and more involved within the world of hunting, even despite discouragement from her guardians; even despite knowing it wasn't what her mother wanted. As Lily came into adulthood she saw herself turning into a hunter like the rest of her family, though Lily's motivations were drawn from something different than most hunters. Lily began hunting not because she sought revenge, but because she wished to remain close with her family, and couldn't stand the thought of losing them while she waited around and did nothing like she had with her mother. Despite her unconventional motivations, Lily proved herself to be a more than capable hunter, but she also realized she was beginning to lose sight of who she really was.After their family had avoided the end of the world (for the last time, one can hope), Lily eventually decided to quit hunting in pursuit of a more gentle approach to helping others. Nowadays, she's currently enrolled as a Psychology student at the University of Colorado Denver in hopes to some day become a trauma therapist. Her hunting days are officially behind her, but then again, nothing ever really ends.

At fifteen years old, Lily has just recently lost her mother and the entire life that she used to know and is now trying to cope with her loss in the Men of Letters bunker with her newly discovered family, the Winchesters. The world of monsters is entirely new and terrifying to her, and she struggles to understand it while also struggling to learn to trust her newfound family. Season Recap

Lily eventually finishes high school and now dedicates all of her time to her family, especially with the most recent development of her grandmother, Mary, coming back from the dead. She starts to become more involved in hunting, not because it's what she truly wants to do, but because she feels it's the only way she can stay connected to the family she's finally become fully comfortable with and accepted as her own. After experiencing so much loss in her short twenty one years of life, Lily's spirit eventually breaks and she becomes extremely quiet and reclusive after they succeed at sending all the lost souls back to Hell. Getting her to leave the bunker is a hard enough task, and getting her to go on hunts is nearly impossible, but after it's discovered that Chuck has plans to destroy the universe and existence as they know it, she sets her own issues aside to help her family stop the biggest threat they've ever faced.

After living with the Winchesters for a year now, Lily is slowly getting used to her new life and the drastic changes she's faced from the life she used to live. She's trying to develop a better relationship with her father, but after his brief time spent as a demon and with his possession of the Mark of Cain, the task of getting to know each other proves more difficult than anticipated. With the birth of Jack and various other circumstances that have recently occurred, Lily makes the decision to take some time for herself away from the bunker to be on her own and in a way, "find herself". She makes it about six months on her own, traveling aimlessly throughout the country until it's eventually discovered Sam and Dean are missing. After saving them and returning back home Lily joins the effort to try and figure out how to get to Apocalypse World to save Jack and Mary. Season Recap

After a bit of time, Lily eventually comes to the realization that hunting is not something she wants to do for the rest of her life. She makes the decision to give college a try, terrified by the huge change to her life but willing to give it a shot anyway. By the fall term of 2021, she becomes a psychology major at the University of Colorado Denver, and is trying her best to adjust herself back into a “normal” life outside of hunting.

Ten years in the future, Lily is now in her early thirties. She went to school to pursue psychology, seeking to become a counselor who secretly specializes in helping hunters and people who suffer from trauma due to hunting-related incidents. She hopes to become helpful to the hunting world in a different way, offering the guidance to others that she feels she could’ve benefitted from when she was younger. She makes several attempts to drop out of high school, but is encouraged by her family to finish her education, both for the purpose of helping her achieve a better future for herself, and as a way to keep her from getting too involved in the dangerous world of hunting. Lily has now fully accepted her role as a hunter (whether she realizes it or not), as she spends the entire time Dean is missing out on her own, searching for answers, determined to find her father. She calms down a bit after Dean is found, and goes on hunts with others more often than not, instead of on her own. When she's not hunting, she's mostly spending her time at home in the bunker, just trying to enjoy whatever time she gets to spend with her family and the people she cares about. Season Recap

Younger Lily, between the ages of seven to eleven. Lily is living in Oregon with her mother, Hanna and is completely unaware of who her father is, what he does, or even the existence of monsters and the world of hunting. Alternatively, an AU where Dean learned about Lily’s existence shortly before she was born and has been there to raise her alongside Hanna, whether or not he continued hunting after Lily’s birth is up to interpretation.

With her mother's previous history in hunting, Hanna and Lily have so far managed to survive the apocalypse and have recently arrived at Camp Chitaqua. Upon arrival, Lily is unaware of her relation to the camp's leader, Dean Winchester, but that doesn't mean she won't be smart enough to figure it out.

After having spent nearly every summer of her life only visiting the Outer Banks when she'd stay with her father, Lily suddenly finds herself becoming a permanent resident after the passing of her mother. Lily's always felt like an outsider on the island, but now she'll be forced to come to terms with calling it home.
